Olivia Yi
10-year-old Olivia Yi, a Grade 5 student at York House School, is an award-winning young pianist and artist. She has received top honors including First Place (Highest Score) at the Versailles Music Festival, Steinway Gold Medal, 2023 Crescendos First Prize, 2024 IPPA Conero Gold Medal, Vivace First Prize, and Sea to Sky First Prize.
Olivia has performed at charity events supporting BC Women’s & Children’s Hospital, VGH Foundation, Liver Cancer Foundation, and St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, and has appeared on the stages of New York International Fashion Week and Vancouver Children’s Fashion Week.
Her artwork has also earned Gold Medals in the Utopia and World Peace painting competitions.
Olivia recently starred as Dorothy, the lead role in CFA’s musical The Wizard of Art. She has also held two solo piano recitals at ages six and seven, raising over $30,000 for charitable causes.
